Azmaya Daibo coffee filter made of flannel

The Daibō Coffee Shop was one of the best known places to enjoy a superior hand poured cup of coffee in Tokyo, Japan. Although the shop itself doesn't exist anymore, its legacy is still very much alive. Tokyo based brand Azmaya works together with Katsuji Daibō to create a line of his signature brewing tools.

The flannel coffee filter has fitted with a hinoki wooden handle for maximum comfort. 

Before use, remove the wooden handle, wash the flannel thoroughly with hot water, and wring it out. Wipe the flannel with a dry, clean cloth to remove moisture until the flannel is slightly damp.

After use, please remove the wooden handle before washing. Next, remove the coffee grounds from the flannel and wash thoroughly with hot water. Do not use detergents or soap as they may leave odors and ingredients on the flannel. The most important thing to do is to thoroughly wash away the fine powder and oil from the coffee beans with hot water.

To store, it's best to soak the flannel in a container filled with water and store in the refrigerator. If not used for a long time, store in the freezer
