A teacup made from Amakusa porcelain stone and mixed ash at the Shiratake kiln in Hasami, Nagasaki prefecture. The kumidashi has a comfortable shape paired with a soft textured glaze that feels just right in the palm of your hand. Its simple design and subdued shade of blue enhances the colour of the tea it holds.
This cup pairs beautifully with a tinned copper saucer.
The Azmaya kumidashi teacup is designed by Osamu Saruyama and made at the Shiratake kiln in Hasami, Nagasaki, Japan.
