Yukihira sauce pan made of 3ply stainless steel with a wooden handle
The quintessential Japanese saucepan. A yukihira-nabe might be found in every Japanese home. Made of aluminum, tinned copper or thin stainless steel, the yukihira is very quick to heat up and boils liquids rapidly. The aesthetically pleasing appearance and the comfortable wooden handle make for an iconic piece of Japanese kitchenware.
Whether you’re blanching vegetables, simmering soups or preparing a quick fix of instant noodles: bring out the yukihira!
This modern yukihira is made of thick stainless steel clad aluminum. Unlike yukihira made out of aluminum and tinned copper, this yukihira works on induction stoves, does not react to acidic or basic foods, and could be used as a small sauté pan as well.
Hand wash and dry thoroughly after use.
